Summary of Duties: Under the direction of the Residential Development Manager, the Housing Inspector/Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for the inspection of all new housing and general housing repair projects, the Inspector/Journeyman Carpenter will take direction from the Residential Development Manager, Trades Manager and C.M.H.C Coordinator, to assist in various tasks related to woodworking, construction and maintenance. They will also assist in the maintenance and repairs of residential units.

Summary of duties: Reports to the Tipahaskahn Kamik General Manager. The Manager shall manage the Residential Development department by applying the skills of planning, organizing, leading by utilizing his/her strategic plan, exceptional organization and computer skills.

Reports to: Kitimakehtowin Friendship Centre Coordinator (Wetaskiwin) SUMMARY Under the direction of the Samson Cree Nation Community Wellness department and the supervision of the Kitimakehtowin coordinator, the receptionist/ Office Assistant will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and supportive safe environment. While providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daffy operations of the center.

Under the direction of the Samson Cree Nation Community Wellness Department and the supervision of the Kitimakehtowin Coordinator, the addictions counsellor will provide one-on-one and group counselling, crisis intervention, and support for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. The counsellor will also perform assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.

Reports to: Kitimakehtowin Friendship Centre Coordinator (Wetaskiwin) SUMMARY Under the direction of the Samson Cree Nation Community Wellness department and the supervision of the Kitimakehtowin coordinator, the case manager will support the Addictions counsellors to conduct client intake and assessments, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing individual and group counselling using harm reduction and recovery-oriented approaches.

Under the direction of the Samson Cree Nation Community Wellness department and the supervision of the Kitimakehtowin coordinator, the Housing Navigator helps clients secure and maintain safe, stable, and affordable housing as part of their recovery journey. The Housing Navigator will assist Indigenous individuals in Wetaskiwin to find and secure, stable, affordable housing by connecting them with community resources and providing ongoing support.

SUMMARY Under the direction of the Samson Cree Nation Community Wellness department, the Kitimakehtowin Friendship Centre coordinator will plan and deliver programs to support individuals facing challenges like homelessness, mental health issues, or addiction.
