BAAN Powertrain is hiring for a full-time automotive parts inside sales/technical order desk position with automotive parts knowledge and/or experience. We are looking for a responsible, organized, friendly, and ambitious individual who enjoys working in a team setting in a growing company. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, consistently show up to work with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.

BAAN Powertrain is a family-owned business that has quickly grown to become Canada's largest aftermarket distributor of powertrain units. Inside sales/order desk experience and automotive knowledge or passion is an asset.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
• Commission Structure: Opportunity to earn bonuses with order desk team commission based on sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders by phone, email, or website chat and clearly communicate price, availability, warranty information, and all product options to customers.
• Place quotes in the system to ensure all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
• Assist customers and other team members with technical automotive knowledge related to powertrain units.
• Provide technical support for product-related or warranty concerns.
• Ensure all returns or product issues are handled professionally and promptly.
• Prepare invoices, payments, shipping documents, and contracts.
• Verify inventory accuracy for invoicing purposes.
• Filing and general administrative tasks.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Education & Experience

• Relevant knowledge and experience in automotive mechanical powertrain repair, installation, and technical support is an asset.
• Order desk/inside sales experience is an asset.
• Ability to speak French is an asset.
• Valid driver's abstract may be required.
