FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (Leduc) The Leduc Downtown District Santa Claus Parade, presented by Southfork, has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 8, due to inclement weather. The Saturday, November 30, forecast predicts temperatures of -26°C with windchill, making it unsafe to host an outdoor event.

While this decision was not made lightly, the Chamber and Leduc Downtown District are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable parade experience for all. The safety of families, volunteers, businesses, and float operators remains the parade's top priority.

Although the parade date has changed, the community is encouraged to visit the Downtown District on November 30 to enjoy the Christmas Market in the mall and take advantage of free photos with Santa. This is also an excellent opportunity to visit local businesses that have worked hard to plan activities and create a special festive atmosphere.

On December 8, join us for the Santa Claus Parade, starting at 6 p.m. Downtown Leduc will come alive with the familiar lights, treats, sounds, and sense of community that the Leduc Downtown District Santa Claus Parade brings.
