Chamber Expands Second-Annual Nisku Energy Show Connecting Alberta’s Energy Leaders
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (Leduc) The Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Chamber of Commerce will announce the second-annual Nisku Energy Show details and exciting additions to the event at a media event on February 24, at 4 p.m. at the Silent Ice Center, 1515 - 35 Avenue, Nisku.
On May 27 & 28, 2026, the Nisku Energy Show will return for a second year with significant additions that build on the success of the inaugural 2025 event. The show will continue to serve as a hub for local innovation and cutting-edge advancements shaping Alberta's energy landscape, bringing together leaders from across the energy sector to network and collaborate.
Back for a second year, the Opening Ceremony and Breakfast will feature the Honourable Danielle Smith, MLA, Premier of Alberta, along with other local dignitaries. New for 2026, a clay shooting tournament on May 1 offers a unique networking opportunity for all skill levels to connect and start building relationships before the main event. Additionally, the show has expanded to include a second arena and a Trades Career Fair space to accommodate growing industry demand. The Taste of the Region public event will be held on the first evening at the Nisku Energy Showgrounds. Featuring local food and beverage vendors, this public event provides an opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to connect with the community and continue conversations beyond the show floor.

Media Event registration and networking will start at 3:30 p.m., followed by greetings from dignitaries and sponsors. The official event and speakers will begin at 4 p.m., among those invited to speak are the Honourable Mike Lake, MP, PC, Brandon Lunty MLA, Leduc County Mayor Tanni Doblanko, City of Leduc Mayor Lars Hansen, Chamber President Tenielle Magee, and industry leaders from Little Guy Oilfield Rentals, AltaFab, Triumph, BDS Trucking, Western Star, and Ja-Co. The event will conclude with a ribbon cutting and formal photo opportunities at 4:30 p.m.
The Nisku Energy Show builds on the Chamber's tradition of connections, offering a fresh, focused platform that accelerates industry and innovation across Alberta's vital energy sector.
