Chinook Equipment in Nisku is seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in selling heavy construction and compact equipment. The Territory Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts, prospecting new business, and delivering exceptional customer service within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities of a Territory Manager:

You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets:

  • Represent and become an advocate of our main equipment lines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers that will generate future sales and repeat business in order to achieve sales goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, and conduct tailored sales presentations/demonstrations as required
  • Cultivate creative solutions for leasing, financing and rental purchase options
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (service and parts) to ensure seamless delivery and support for your customers
  • Provide after-sale support and exceptional customer service

Skills and Experience:

  • Preference will be given to those with experience in agriculture or compact equipment sales, OR those with a mechanical background in heavy equipment looking for a new challenge
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Nisku/Leduc/Edmonton area and are well connected
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, identify new opportunities and close deals
  • Results driven with exceptional execution skills to meet or exceed targets
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
  • Ability to pass a criminal record/credit check and provide a clean driving abstract
