Receptionist - Wetaskiwin
Reports to: Kitimâkehtowin Friendship Centre Coordinator (Wetaskiwin)
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Extend a warm and professional greeting to all guests and visitors.
- Answer basic inquiries and direct visitors and callers to the appropriate personnel or office.
- Control access to the building by monitoring visitor logs and issuing badges.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the correct departments or individuals.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders when needed.
- Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Schedule appointments, manage meeting room bookings, and update calendars for staff.
- Support intake processes by providing information and forms.
- Uphold confidentiality and provide trauma-informed customer service.
Education/Experience:
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or front-line support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations calmly and respectfully.
- Knowledge of community resources and cultural protocols an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and partners.
