General Description:

Candidate is responsible for assisting the Senior Parts Technician ensuring that parts are available to mechanics on time; and that inventories are maintained, stored and organized to promote safety, quality, preservation of the materials and productivity of the employees. Hourly wage will be based on experience and education, entry level to management positions available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Receive parts shipments, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy

- Organize freight shipments

- Storing parts in the proper locations

- Maintain inventory levels and create weekly orders

- Pulling parts for mechanics

- Cleaning and organizing parts bay (sweeping, dusting)

- Assisting parts clerk with any other day to day duties

Minimum Requirements: 

- High School Diploma

- Valid Driver License, clean driving record, and have reliable transportation to work

- Able to lift (up to 75 lbs.), and be physically fit to perform tasks

- Must be able to operate equipment (forklift)

- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

- Highly motivated and self directed. Able to work independently

- Proficient with computers, Inventory Management Programs and basic Excel skills

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
