Overview

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking and verifying parts for shipment.

Responsibilities

- Picking and verifying parts against packing slips to ensure order accuracy.  

- Prioritizing picking tasks based on customer ship dates and courier or freight pickup schedules. 

- Reviewing order number lists to confirm any outstanding shipments. 

- Using Kinetic ERP to check inventory, generate packing slips, print labels and transfer parts. 

- Operating forklift to move skids and load trucks.

- General housekeeping of picking and shipping areas. 

- Completing associated paperwork and documents accurately. 

- Assisting with shipping and other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

-  Minimum 1 year experience in an order picker or similar role.

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset. 

- Fall Protection and Forklift certifications.

- Basic math and computer skills.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Work Schedule: Full-time and permanent position. Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Overtime may be required.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: CVS Controls is committed to maintaining a safe and drug free work environment. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is a mandatory requirement for all prospective employees.

Fitness-to-Work Testing: A pre-employment fitness evaluation will be required for positions involving physical tasks.

All testing procedures will be conducted by a third party in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, test results will be shared internally on a need to know basis only.

Wage: Ranges from $20/hr - $25/hr | Wage increases based on skills and experience.
