We’re looking for a Mechanical Assembler who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys hands-on mechanical assembly. In this role, you’ll assemble, fit, and install mechanical and hydraulic components to create subassemblies and finished products that meet exacting quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do
Assembly & Installation
· Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated mechanical components to create subassemblies and finished products
· Use a variety of hand and power tools including grinders, trimmers, and precision measuring instruments
· Position, align, and adjust parts to ensure proper fit, function, and assembly accuracy
· Connect cables, tubes, wiring, and hydraulic lines
· Secure components using bolting, riveting, and other fastening and joining techniques
· Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies
· Operate small cranes or lifting devices to move or position larger components
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
· Use computer systems to issue inventory and open, update, and close work orders
Production & Equipment Care
· Meet production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards
· Perform basic preventive maintenance to ensure tools and equipment remain in safe working condition
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
· Work collaboratively as part of a skilled production team
· Support additional technical or administrative tasks as required
· Identify and recommend process improvements to supervisors to enhance efficiency, quality, or safety
Safety Is Non-Negotiable
This is a safety-sensitive position. You are expected to:
· Follow all safety rules, procedures, and safe work practices
· Wear required PPE appropriate to each task
· Adhere strictly to lockout/tagout procedures
· Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents
· Maintain strong housekeeping standards
· Work safely around moving equipment, noise, heat, fumes, and airborne particles
What You Bring
Education & Experience
· High School Diploma or GED
· 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical assembly environment preferred
· Experience with hydraulic systems or hose fabrication is a strong asset
· Experience mounting tires to wheels is considered an asset
Technical Skills
· Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools, machines, and equipment
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
· Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
· Working knowledge of workplace safety practices

Working Conditions
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, fumes, and moderate-to-high noise levels
· Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts (morning and afternoon)
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting
· Lift up to and including 50 lbs
· Safely climb ladders and work in confined spaces
· Frequent use of hands and fingers for precise tasks
· Meet vision, hearing, and physical fitness requirements
