Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble plugs, stems, and other components to support production.

Assist machinists with minor machining tasks.

Unload incoming materials and supplies from trucks.

Cut materials using appropriate tools and equipment.

Empty chip bins and manage scrap material disposal.

Operate shop equipment including bandsaw, arbor press, and drill press.

Operate forklift and overheard crane.

General housekeeping to maintain a clean shop.

Assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing or machine shop is an asset.

Mechanical aptitude and proficient with hand and power tools.

Basic mathematical and computer skills.

Forklift certification (training is provided).

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Salary: Starts at $22.50/hr, increases based off skills and experience.

Work Schedule: Full-time and permanent position. Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Overtime may be required.
