Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Premier Denham Inn & Suites. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our hotel while supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position. In addition to supervising and supporting the housekeeping team, the successful candidate must be prepared to assist with daily operational duties as needed. This may include cleaning guest rooms, helping with laundry, stocking supplies, and ensuring all housekeeping standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate leads by example, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Train and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures for efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role in a hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
