Commissionaires Northern Alberta Group (CNAG) is an training company consisting of CNAG Public Safety Solutions and CNAG Property Management. We have opened a Veteran-powered Training Centre in the Nisku, AB Business Park. CNAG Public Safety Solutions is Hiring Veterans of the CAF, RCMP, and serving Reservists! We are open to the public and our clients include the Military, LawEnforcement, EmergencyManagement, Security, and the FirstResponder community.

As a new company, we are hiring our instructor cadre from the veteran community to leverage the bearing, quality of instruction, and discipline the public expects from a veteran.
Role Description
This is a casual, hybrid role for a First Aid Training Coordinator, based in Nisku, AB, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves delivering first aid training programs, coordinating certification process, and ensuring compliance with relevant certification standards. The Training Coordinator will collaborate with CNAG training partners and agencies, maintain training equipment, and manage program materials. Additional responsibilities will include training development, evaluating course effectiveness, and contributing to the development of training strategies.
Qualifications
4+ years experience in the Canadian Armed Forces (completed initial leadership training). Equivalent law enforcement or first responder backgrounds considered.
Certification as First Aid Instructor in Alberta. Certifications for instructor trainer highly desired.
Combat First Aid, TCCC, TECCC, TACMED qualifications are highly desired.
Red Cross certified Wilderness or Remote First Aid Instructor is highly desired.
Attributes
Strong organizational, communication, and instructional skills.
Capability in MS suite of programs and typical classroom technology.
Ability to work both independently and in collaborative settings.
Proficiency in managing training materials and evaluating program outcomes.
Compensation
Pay as a casual employee will be by daily rate according to level of instruction and experience.
