Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Esthetician / Body Sugaring Specialist based in Leduc, AB, with availability for evenings and Saturdays. In this role, you’ll provide hair removal services using body sugaring, along with client-focused skincare services tailored to individual needs. You’ll consult with clients, educate them on proper skincare routines, and confidently recommend services and homecare products that support long-term results.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to start part time and grow. As your clientele builds, there is opportunity to move into a full-time role if desired. We also offer long-term career growth, including advancement into management roles at future locations and additional training in services such as electrolysis, laser, and advanced skincare.
About the Role
As a Body Sugaring Specialist at Nüd, you’ll be at the heart of the client experience. This role blends technical skill with strong communication and customer service. You’ll help create a calm, clean, and relaxing environment while delivering precise, high-quality treatments and thoughtful client education.
Responsibilities
• Perform body sugaring services with precision, consistency, and a strong focus on client comfort during evening and Saturday shifts
• Serve as a primary provider of body sugaring services, with the opportunity to expand into advanced treatments such as laser hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, electrolysis, fractional resurfacing, skin lightening treatments, vajacials, and other intimate or corrective skincare services through studio-provided training and certification
• Conduct thorough consultations to assess goals, preferences, contraindications, and suitability for treatment
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care and skincare routines
• Recommend and educate clients on appropriate services and homecare products in a genuine, client-first way
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace that aligns with studio standards
• Confidently discuss sensitive topics related to body image, hair removal, and skin concerns
• Promote body positivity and contribute to a welcoming, judgment-free studio environment
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service and help foster long-term client relationships
Qualifications
• Certification or previous experience in body sugaring, waxing, laser, or advanced skincare is an asset, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate
• Completion of a full esthetics program is an asset
• Previous experience in sales, including educating clients, recommending services, or promoting homecare products, is an asset
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a warm, compassionate approach
• Passion for providing a high-quality, professional, and client-centered experience
• Familiarity with skincare and hair removal trends, or a genuine interest in ongoing learning and professional development
• Knowledge of skin conditions, contraindications, and aftercare is an asset (training provided as needed)
• Evening and Saturday availability is required
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in delivering quality work
