RESPONSIBILITIES
· Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or shop drawings to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
· EMT Conduit bending and installation experience required
· Pre-fab and prep of device boxes, exterior devices, panel and light fixtures
· Measure, cut, mark and layout blocking
· Notch, trace, cut-out device boxes and fans
· Lay-out and install devices boxes and octagons
· Drill holes in walls, roof and floor
· Measure, cut, mark and layout blocking

· Drill holes in walls, roof and floor
· Pull wire through roof joists, walls, floors and conduit
· Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, feeders, coax cable, fire alarm cable and distribution panels
· Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
· Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
· A strong commitment to safety and a safety leader
· Registered in Alberta Apprenticeship Program or Journeyman status
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications and work from sketches
· Must be able to work independently or in a group/team setting as an effective learner / listener
· Ability to work in a physical demanding position and a fast paced team environment
· Ability to work in an indoor confined work area environment
· Current Fall Arrest certificate would be considered an asset
· Experience in residential construction an asset
· Position requires vehicle to drive to an from Nisku on a daily basis
· Position requires strong English communication skills, including written, spoken and comprehension
· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
