Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is looking for an energetic addition to join our team at our senior's lodge located in Warburg, AB.
Reporting to the Assistant Lodge Manager, the General Service Worker is responsible for delivering a high standard of housekeeping and food services to the residents in the lodge.
This casual position will be required to work a variety of shifts. Shifts will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. The General Service Worker is responsible for delivering a high standard of housekeeping and food services to the residents in the lodge.
Duties may include kitchen-related responsibilities such as cleaning, cooking and food preparation or housekeeping responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Housekeeping and/or food service experience in institution/hospitality industries.
Formal education related to housekeeping and/or food service would be beneficial.
W.H.M.I.S. Training.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal is required.
Strong customer service skill including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner.
Ability to perform work duties with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to work independently, as well as a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends).
Satisfactory Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
Experience working with and meeting the needs of seniors.
