Accounts Receivable Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to all Tier 1 Energy Solutions (Tier 1) policies and procedures, furthermore, understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures.
- Process AR invoices in B1 in a timely manner.
- Process AR invoices in Customer systems. (Openinvoice, Cortex, Jobutrax, etc.)
- Responsible for month end closure of all outstanding invoices.
- Record collections and deposits
- Tracking customer payments and correspondence (Master AR Tracking Sheet).
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Work with sales on pricebooks and all issues regarding invoice submission and payment
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Conduct monthly AR reviews with sales and operations team.
- Work with customers to fulfill month end requests and paperwork
- Work with supervisor to hit monthly collection goals.
- Other duties as required as per management team.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft office products with primary focus on Excel.
- Exceptional flexibility with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
- Experience with customer pricebook setup and management internally deemed an asset
- Experience working on AR automation projects and maintaining current automation processes is a requirement
- Strong attention to detail

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Sitting behind a desk looking at a computer screen for up to 8 hours in a day.
- Frequent sitting, bending, twisting, and standing.
Education, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- Diploma or Certificate in business, finance or related field required and/or equivalent experience.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$28.64 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
