JET COMPANION Canada LTD is an international medical transport provider, near the Edmonton

International Airport. Our aeromedical escorts are deployed worldwide for medical repatriations by

air and ground.

We are currently looking for a

Transport Physician (Flight Doctor)(on call)

In this role you will care for patients on long distance transfers by commercial or charter flights,

and onboard ground ambulances. This position requires frequent international travel, flexible work

hours in different time zones and deployment at short notice for multiple days.

What we are looking for:

- Valid and unrestricted practice permit with CPSA

- Current practice in an acute care setting

- Adult critical care experience preferred

- Current BLS-HCP and ACLS certification

- Ability to be at the Edmonton International Airport within two hours

- Flexible approach to unfamiliar situations

- Willingness to complete aeromedical certification training within 6 months

- Minimum availability of seven days per month

- Canadian passport or EU-passport with Canadian PR

- No ineligibility for visa approval or denied entry in any country

- Bi- or multi-lingualism considered an asset
