Job Summary:
As a Service Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking service for their vehicles. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage service appointments, and coordinate communication between customers and the service department. Your role will be c
rucial in ensuring smooth operations in the service area and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
• Answer phone calls, schedule service appointments, and provide customers with accurate information regarding services and pricing.
• Assist customers in completing service requests, ensuring all required details are recorded accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area.
• Process customer transactions, including payments, estimates, and quotes.
• Communicate with technicians and the service team to ensure the timely completion of vehicle service and repairs.
• Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles and inform them of any delays or additional services needed.
• Handle customer concerns or issues, escalating to management when necessary, to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate the return of vehicles to customers once the service is completed.
• Collect payment from service invoices.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records for all customers and vehicles.
• Assist with filing, invoicing, and administrative tasks as needed by the service department.
• Ensure all customer vehicles are handled with care and respect.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher preferred).
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive dealership or service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and maintain a positive attitude.
• Previous experience with automotive software or dealership systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. (occasionally).
