Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in the welding industry. As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and the service department, ensuring that all customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your role will involve managing customer inquiries, providing estimates for repairs, and facilitating communication between customers and technicians. A strong background in customer service is essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
• Assess customer needs by asking relevant questions regarding machine issues and service history.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services based on customer requests and technician recommendations.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed of progress.
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
• Assist in part procurement.
• Unload and load customer equipment using a forklift or crane.
• Lead safety meetings and keep accurate records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a repair environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about repair processes.

Pay: $53,163.10-$72,800.00 per year
