Seasonal Hockey Data Entry Registrar (September – April (Eight Months)) - Maskwacis

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs questions to appropriate MMHA Board/assists when possible.

• Journal a daily notebook for follow-up on hockey related matters for MMHA Board of Directors.

• Submit Monthly Report

• Email any incoming correspondence to MMHA Board of Directors

• Prepare for MMHA meetings – Agendas

• Prepare support when back up is required for meetings.

• Hockey Schedule of the CAHL Season for all MMHA Leagues teams

• Input all MMHA documents promptly and properly, ensuring the confidentiality of all files.

• Assists the MMHA category (division, gender, coaching) staff with information pertaining to them from the MMHA Board, Ref-in-Chief, and the C.A.H.L. League.

• Assists with MMHA complaints and directs them to the MMHA Board of Directors for their direction, after MMHA meetings.

• File all correspondence to their appropriate areas and ensure files are accurate and up to date.

• Close inactive MMHA files.

• File all MMHA/SCN forms in employee file.

• MMHA will work with Personnel regarding wage payroll: 70 hours – bi-weekly, Sick Leave, and Overtime. Must be available to work late when required or as needed: Fundraisings, MMHA Bingo, AGM, Golf Tournament, Yearend BBQ

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of Grade 12

• Ability to greet and deal with the public in a polite manner

• Must be punctual and reliable

• Answers office incoming calls, takes messages as required.

• Certification in Administrative Clerical field

• Ability to take direction

• Excellent oral, written communication skills

• Strong active listening skills

• Must have knowledge of office equipment

• Proven planning, prioritizing, organizing and coordination skills

• Advanced computer skills and use of MS Office, Excel.

• Sign Oath of Confidentially.

• Must submit: Application, Resume,

• Driver’s License Valid Class #5 and own transportation

• The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a Criminal Record Check after hired.

• Ability to speak/understand Cree language is an asset
