RENTAL ADIMINSTRATOR

Established in 1989, AFD Petroleum is an independent supplier of bulk fuel, lubricants, and on-site storage tanks and systems to customers across western Canada and Alaska. 

Our Rental Administrator helps everyone succeed! This position deals with multiple aspects of our tank rental operation, foremost dealing with customer request as well as many of the administrator tasks that come with being a major support center for the company, such as, tracking and billing rentals, creating and receiving PO’s, month end, AP, booking hotels, directing visitors and being a liaison with head office. No days are the same with the various services you will provide. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track rental assets and invoice customers for monthly rentals, trucking, service calls Etc
  • Direct walk-in and phone request from customers and vendors to correct department. 
  • Organize trucking to ship and return tanks to/from customer locations, complete BOL’s.
  • Update both paper and electronic systems with status and changes to equipment.
  • Create and reconcile PO’s, submit expenses and complete Work orders as necessary
  • Complete Month End processes in a accurate and timely fashion
  • Liaison with other departments, branches and head office on project support.
  • Assist management and staff with operational requests.
  • Assist in maintaining safety requirements and documentation. 

 

Required Experience/Skills/Education:

  • 3+ years’ Customer service experience in an industrial or equipment rental operation.
  • Administrative and financial support experience. 
  • Post secondary Education an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems, i.e Teams, Outlook, Excel 
  • A positive, willing-to-learn attitude and good communication will go a long way!

Your Schedule:

  • Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday schedule, 8AM-5PM.
  • This role is based in the office at our Nisku Branch.
