Position Summary
ABCU Credit Union (ABCU) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leader, Branch experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the member services front line, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and provide leadership and support to the member services team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the member service team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of cash transactions.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to cash services.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate cash levels are maintained to meet the needs of the business.
Develop and implement strategies to improve cash handling processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Provide training, guidance, and support to member service team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless cash operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to member services activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of cash management policies and procedures.
Act as a backup on cash as required to support the member experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cash management software.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Valid Driver’s License.
Able to work in Canada.
