Garden Center Clerk

Wetaskiwin Co-op is recruiting for the seasonal position of Garden Center Clerk for our busy Home Center, located at 4707 40th Ave in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

Wetaskiwin Co-op is located in central Alberta operating in 9 locations in 5 communities of Wetaskiwin, Innisfail, Camrose, Edmonton and Falun. We operate in a variety of product lines including consumer hardware, building products, crop inputs, petroleum, liquor and feed manufacturing. What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Hardware Assistant Manager, the Garden Center Clerk is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Be professional, friendly, and courteous in the work environment.

· Ensures a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

· Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards.

· Caring for plants.

· Complying with all Wetaskiwin Co-op policies, procedures, and standards.

· Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source.

· Other duties as assigned.
