Wetaskiwin Co-op is recruiting for the full-time permanent position of File Maintenance Clerk at our very busy Falun Co-op branch, located off Highway 13 in Falun, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Falun Branch Manager, the File Maintenance Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our physical and digital filing systems, ensuring efficient access to critical information for various departments within our retail environment. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Coming to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- Accurately enter and update data in computer systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital files, including member records, vendor information, inventory data, and other important documents. This includes proper labeling, sorting, and storage.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and general office tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and mail sorting.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Follow safety and housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures, and complying with all regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in the Retail industry and:
- You have demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge in Excel, JDE, and MI9 are considered an asset.
- Detail-orientated team player capable of working independently is essential to the role.
- Ability to organize and effectively prioritize tasks respectful of deadlines, with an ability to work under pressure and work with integrity and confidentiality.
- You quickly prioritize individual responsibilities and effectively manage time under deadlines.
- Proven experience in file maintenance, data entry, or related clerical roles, preferably in a retail environment, are considered an asset.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
