Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for a part-time Cook position (52.5) hours/bi-weekly as per rotating schedule for our senior’s lodge in Warburg, Alberta. Reporting to the Head Cook, the Cook is responsible for meal preparation and service to the residents. As a member of the staff team, the Cook ensures that a high standard of services is provided to the residents. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Formal training in quantity food preparation. 

2. 3 years’ experience in with cooking and baking in a commercial kitchen setting is preferred. 

3. Knowledge of proper food handling practices. 

4. Food Handler's Certificate preferred. 

5. W.H.M.I.S. Training. 

6. Standard First Aid Certificate. 

7. Interest in working with, and meeting the needs of, the elderly and interact with everyone in a respectful manner.
