Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced food service setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and provide change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Cashiering experience with proficiency in using POS systems.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required.
• A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage recipes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$26.04 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
