Wetaskiwin Co-op is now accepting applications for the permanent full-time position of Clothing Sales Associate. Reporting to the Hardware Manager, the Clothing Sales Associate has a vital role in ensuring our shelves are well stocked, organized, and appealing to our members and customers.

Wetaskiwin Co-op is located in central Alberta operating in 9 locations in 5 communities of Wetaskiwin, Innisfail, Camrose, Edmonton and Falun. We operate in a variety of product lines including consumer hardware, building products, crop inputs, petroleum, liquor and feed manufacturing. Areas of responsibility:
- Customer service- provide friendly and helpful assistance to members and customers, answering their inquiries, locating products, and offering recommendations.
- Stocking and merchandising- efficiently and accurately unpack, sort, and stock dry goods on shelves, in displays, and in storage areas.
- Inventory management- assist with inventory counts, identifying low stock levels, and communicating restocking needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining a clean workspace- Keep work areas, including shelves and aisles, clean and free of hazards.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Who you are:

- Experience in a retail setting is not compulsory but is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to and at times in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
