The Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network is a joint venture between participating local family physicians and Alberta Health Services. Our mandate is to sustain and enhance the quality, coordination, and integration of healthcare services in Leduc and the surrounding area, and to improve the quality of life for the community of patients and physicians.
The Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network is seeking a Clinical Administrator to support the new location of the Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic. This position supports Nurse Practitioners and patients of the clinic in Leduc, as well as rural locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing reception and Medical Office Assistant services to all patients.
Administrative support including sending reports, scanning and maintaining all documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Provide administrative support to other PCN clinical programs as required.
Requirements:
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
Reception and Medical Office Administration experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of working with EMRs, and Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience dealing with confidential information.
Proven experience working as part of a team and ability to work independently.
Salary, Benefits, and Hours of Work:
The salary range for this position is $22.91 to $29.23 per hour.
We offer group benefits that include a health spending account.
The working hours are 7.5 hours per day, and are generally scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with some occasional after-hours work required.
The main location of work is in the Leduc Beaumont Devon PCN central office. Occasional coverage at other locations in the PCN service area will be required (Warburg/Thorsby NP-Led Clinics).
