Description: The Retail Sales & Leasing Consultant is tasked with building a portfolio of long-term business including an assigned database of clients. You achieve and exceed sales and leasing targets of new and used retail vehicles by being an expert in understanding Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram products and how they fit into the lives of our clients.

Pay Plan: Greater of Monthly Guarantee or commission on total gross profit on each sale plus bonuses. Commensurate with experience.

Pay Range: $48,000- $120,000/year.

Job Duties: Essential Duties NOT in order of importance (included but not limited to):

Daily activity of contacting a minimum of 15 clients or potential clients/work day.

Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.

Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous clients and promptly responding to inquiries from new potential clients.

Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; quoting available in-stock units; providing factory order options; building rapport.

Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; explaining options, warranties and services.

Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; negotiating trade-ins; collecting deposits and/or payments; delivers vehicle.

Updates job knowledge by participating in mandatory & optional educational opportunities.

Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to daily tasks and interactions.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Maintains active AMVIC license, active Alberta Drivers License and adheres to all applicable codes of conduct.

Adheres to all confidentiality agreements, whether implied or expressed, commensurate to your position.

Achieves Monthly Minimum Sales Standard of 7 sales/month.
