Limber Environmental is a small business located in Leduc, Alberta that specializes in residential, commercial, and industrial landscape maintenance and arboriculture.
Job description
Part time to full time arborist/ crew lead position located in Leduc, AB.
Remuneration will be based on level of experience. Preference given to ISA Certified Arborists or candidates that have some level of practical arboriculture training and/ or experience.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ISA best practices for pruning, rigging, tree removal and tree care.
This is a year round position. Candidate will be required to work out of town Monday - Friday during the winter months (November - April) throughout central Alberta. Summer jobs are mainly residential pruning and removals within the Leduc area.
Job Description:
Duties will include tree pruning and removal using a bucket truck and/ or climbing, using a chipper, job site clean up (raking, blowing leaves), shearing shrubs & hedges, landscape maintenance for commercial and residential properties, tree planting, etc.
Qualifications:
- Current Alberta Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract and a reliable source of transportation. Air brakes endorsement is a bonus.
- Must have experience in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, etc.
- Must be a Canadian citizen and speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Must be willing to work alone or in a team setting.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions on a work order and read maps.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Additional pay:
