JOIN US September 7th to September 23rd for numerous opportunities to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture through local events and activities.

The Leduc Downtown Business Association, Downtown District, is excited to be hosting Culture Days 2023 this year. Culture Days is a national and provincial initiative to celebrate and raise awareness and appreciation for arts and culture in Canada.

We will be coordinating numerous free activities, demonstrations, workshops and performances to allow people of all ages and backgrounds to learn and appreciate the many diverse and changing cultures that we have in our community. Appreciation and recognition of all the cultures and values we host in our community is vital to creating growth in the businesses we have Downtown. 

LOCATION: Leduc Downtown District, Central Business District

September 7th: Downtown District Culture Days kicks off with an Open House Day. “On This Spot” Historical Walking Tours, with both a guided and self-guided option; open museum days at the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator and other business open houses to showcase some of our historically significant buildings. This night will also have live music and antique cars on display. 

September 15th - September 23rd: 

Downtown Dining Week: Pickup a free Downtown Dining Passport and fill it up by trying a dish from our participating restaurants for a chance to win a prize basket of epic proportions. 

Art Exhibit: Artists, submit your Culture Days art application for a chance to have your art work displayed at our Culture Days Exhibit located at the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator from September 15th to 23rd. 

September 23rd: Downtown District Culture Showcase: we are coordinating a full day of free activities, performances, workshops, and demonstrations. These will take place throughout the Downtown District within local businesses.
