About

The Boys and Girls Club of Wetaskiwin provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. Incorporated in the Province of Alberta on April 8th, 1988. The Boys and Girls Club of Wetaskiwin was established in 1988 as a society as a much-needed community based service for children, youth and families in the City of Wetaskiwin and area. Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors we are responsible for all our own fundraising but follow the guidelines for program and service delivery set out by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. The Club programs focus on four key areas essential to healthy child development: -Physical Activity, Health and Safety -Leadership, Growth and Empowerment -Learning and Career Development -Community Service
