Credit and Collections Representative



The successful candidate is responsible for monitoring arrears and taking appropriate action to ensure collection or termination of service; responding to all customer requests and inquiries via appropriate channels; and, performing other duties as assigned.

The incumbent is expected to work shifts scheduled between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday to Friday as per the collective agreement.

Qualifications include:

  • Business –related certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution;
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a call centre/telephone customer service environment;
  • Specific call centre agent or customer service training;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
  • Ability to deal effectively with emergency situations; and
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in order to correctly calculate and explain customer bills and billing corrections.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Progressive Wage Range: $30.57 to $32.72
