This 4th annual Social Awareness Chamber Luncheon in partnership with Leduc County will provide an opportunity for community and business leaders to learn\, connect and act. \nJOIN US to gain practical strategies\, build meaningful connections\, and show your commitment to a stronger\, more inclusive future.Fireside chat Presenter: Chief Wilton (Willie) Littlechild\, Ph.D.\, is a Cree chief\, residential school survivor\, lawyer and Truth and Reconciliation Commission Commissioner who has worked both nationally and internationally including with the United Nations to advance Indigenous rights and treaties.Fireside chat Moderator: Hunter Cardinal\, a sakāwithiniwak (Woodland Cree) storyteller from the Sucker Creek Cree First Nation in northern Alberta. As Director of Story at Naheyawin\, a storytelling and education social enterprise based in amiskwac w skahikan (Edmonton)\, Hunter guides individuals and organizations through transformative experiences rooted in Indigenous worldviews. He has been recognized in Edmonton's Top 40 Under 40 for his cultural contributions. He believes that storytelling is how we remember who we are and imagine who we might become.Attendees can visit social awareness agency booths to speak with professionals and learn about resources available to organizations and employees.
